What a wonderful Autumn Soiree evening we had on Friday 14th November 2014. The house looked magical with candles lighting the pathway to the Carriageway and the cosiness and aroma of the log fire in the bar created a lovely atmosphere for the evening.
Our guests arrived from midday to check into their rooms and relaxed in our bar for a bite to eat before getting all glammed up for the evenings’ proceedings. At 4pm our guests mingled in the house, where an array of welcome drinks and seasonal canapés were served.
Following our drinks reception a wine tasting was conducted by our Bar Manager. Couples had the opportunity to try some of our most popular wines followed by a glass of bubbles to celebrate the evening. On the way up to dinner guests had their photographs taken in front of the Tower by the fantastic Neil Bailey.
Guests were welcomed into the Great Hall by our Head Waitress and shown to their seats. A seasonal three course meal was served to each guest, followed by cheese & biscuits and tea & coffee.
Guests could then enjoy the evenings’ casino by Diamond Fun Casino which was set up in our gorgeous Light Oak reception room.
To top the evening off, we had a spectacular fireworks display by Dynamics Fireworks to go out with a BANG!!
