With now only 3 days until our Country House Festival, I thought it would be pretty apt to do a blog all about festival themed weddings (as well as mentioning about the truly amazing festival we are holding on Sunday of course)!
Festival themed weddings are free spirited, fun loving and perfect any season of the year!
It’s the small details that make a festival themed wedding amazing so focus on the little things! MUST accessories for a festival themed wedding are vintage bunting, personalised signs and lots of wild flower decorations- especially in your hair!
With festival themed weddings you can go crazy with your stationery and invitations! Why not create festival styled ‘order of the day’ entry ticket cards for guests to be given when they arrive with all the information for the day. You could even give VIP ones out for your bridesmaids and ushers!
Festival food includes afternoon tea- lots of cream cakes, scones, mini desserts and cupcakes of course! Also don’t forget to have our candy stand for any children attending or just for the adults that are big kids at heart! A hog roast or barbeque is also essential for the evening buffet. Bacon baps, sausage baguettes and haloumi skewers- yum! Fun food that will really fill your appetite and give you and your guests the energy to boogie all night!
Finally.. The music! Make sure you have an upbeat live band for your festival themed wedding – a band that will get everyone up on their feet and dancing until the sun goes down and make your evening one that your guests will never forget.
