Catherine and Nathan were married here at Leez Priory on a beautiful sunny day in August. The happy couple have been kind enough to share an insight into their special day.
After spending the night in our Fisherman’s Cottage, Catherine and her bridesmaids got ready in our Bridal Dressing Room. Lisa and Danielle from Evolve salon in Broadstairs met the bridal party in the morning and undertook the job of hair and make-up.
Catherine’s bridesmaids and Father were so pleased to see how stunning Catherine looked in her gorgeous detailed lace gown.
Catherine’s flower girl Lilly watched on as preparations were underway for the big day!
The guests gathered in The Courtyard before the ceremony and a young guest made the most of the outside dance floor!
Catherine and Nathan said ‘I do’ in front of their family and friends in a beautiful ceremony held in the Great Hall. The room was decorated elegantly with white chair covers tied with light gold sashes.
Nathan was warmly congratulated by his groomsman who later gave a guard of honour for the happy couple.
The exquisite grounds provided a stunning back drop for the photos. The day was beautifully captured by Kelsie Low.
The couple cut their cake whilst the guests watched from the delightfully sunny courtyard.
As the celebrations continued into the night, the beautiful large wooden doors of The Carriageway were opened and framed a magnificent firework display.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish Catherine and Nathan a very happy future together as Husband and Wife from all of us here at Leez Priory!
