A preview into Charlotte and Lauren’s love story from the perfect proposal in Thailand to the dream wedding at Leez Priory.
It all started on a balcony in Thailand over looking the ocean whilst the sun was setting.
Both Charlotte and Lauren knew they were keen to set a date in the summer of 2018 but were quite open to seeing what availability we had.
“The moment we saw it we knew it was the one! The moment we pulled up we both knew. It’s a stunning venue and we loved that it would be ours for the day with our guests.”
They started planning by browsing through various magazines, creating numerous boards on Pinterest and speaking to friends who had already tied the knot.
“A must have for us was a videographer and a harpist for photos.”
The ceremony was held in the courtyard under the tower.
Once the couple had said their ‘I do’s’ they enjoyed their welcome drinks and canapes.
They opted for Cosmopolitans, Raspberry Fizz and Prosecco to accompany their mouth watering choice of canapes.

Once the guests had enjoyed their welcome drinks, canapes and mingling with others they made their way to the Coach House to enjoy a hearty three-course meal.
Lauren and Charlotte offered their guests Mozzarella and Rocket Salad followed by Traditional Roast Topside of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding and for those with a sweet tooth, Chocolate and Salted Caramel Brownie.
“We used the in-house DJ who was great! We chose thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran as it was the song that played when we got engaged and we had also seen him live… it’s Our Song!”
“If we could do it all again we wouldn’t change a thing!”
After the wedding, Charlotte and Lauren flew to Aruba where they enjoyed lots of excursions followed by a relaxing retreat on the beach with lots of cocktails.
