Evening reception

Enjoy your romantic first dance out on the lawn circled by the ‘candle package’ lanterns, in our stunning Carriageway or on the dancefloor of our disco surrounded by your nearest and dearest, setting the tone for your evening reception as one to remember.

For a traditional evening party, our converted cellar with vaulted ceiling has been designed for you to let loose after a day of festivities, with the dancefloor offering guests the opportunity to show off their moves. The music also flows through to the traditional bar with an impressive inglenook fireplace and lounge areas providing those who wish to enjoy a drink and chat with friends the space to do so, also available to those guests with accommodation for a late-night drink if staying over.

Alternatively, spend the evening dancing under the stars with a dancefloor in the Courtyard, with the Courtyard Bar open for guests to enjoy the long summer nights with a drink in hand. Make it even more memorable with live music, which is permitted in the Carriageway overlooking the Courtyard – perfect for your first dance and starting your evening reception in style!

Your guests have full and exclusive use of the grounds, with access to the courtyard, which is the perfect location to relax during summer evenings, take in the scenery, and play garden games. There are also two reception rooms in the Main House, The Tudor Room and The Light Oak Room which offer a more relaxed atmosphere. The Tudor Room is bursting with period charm, including an imposing inglenook fireplace and beautiful beams, while the Light Oak Room includes a decorative fireplace and baby grand piano.
